OF THE MONTH
March
2008

Mark
Weinstein, President, Lee Reed, Driver, and Mike
Rosson, Executive Vice President
Lee Reed, Driver, will be celebrating his 16th
anniversary with us this year. Lee drives
one of our tractor-trailers and can whip it into
amazingly small places. However, that is
not why he is our Employee of the Month in March
- he is also a past Employee of the Year.
Lee won because he once again volunteered
to come in on a Saturday morning - early
- to take a truck out to Mira Loma for an
account.
Thank you Lee!
Congratulations to our
Employee of the Month and thank you to all our
employees for the good jobs they do every day.

Employee of the Year 2007
This is the most prestigious
award that California Supply has
and all employees strive to win
it. However, in order to
become Employee of the Year, you
must first be an Employee of the
Month - we had 20 Employees of
the Month in 2007. This
award is presented at our
Holiday Party in December.
Everyone waits all evening for
Mike Rosson, Executive Vice
President, to make the
announcement. Our Employee
of the Year for 2007 - Giselle
Palacio-Hernandez, Customer
Service.
Most
customers who call in know
Giselle as a pleasant helpful
voice on this end of the
phone. That pleasant
helpful attitude is what won her
this prestigious award.
Giselle
started out as our Receptionist
and was promoted to Customer
Service within a short period of
time and has been with California Supply
for eight years. She and
her husband, Mike, are the
parents of two children, Joshua
and Victoria.
Thank
you Giselle.

Sales
Team of the Year
Salesperson of
the Year is a very difficult to
achieve. It's highly sought after,
and extremely elusive. Only one
person can win - and there were
thirteeen people competing this year. The
criteria are exacting. Twice each
year our salespeople set down with the
Sales Manager and plan what they would
like to achieve for the year. The
numbers they choose must exceed the
numbers they did in the previous
year. This is a trying
exercise. The method used to track
the numbers is fair for everyone
involved. It offers a new
representative the same chance at the
title as a veteran. This year's
winner is a veteran of 27 years. In addition, this
is his second time as Salesperson of the
Year, he also won in 1995. Steve
Nahin is our Salesperson of the Year
for 2007. Steve and his lovely
wife, CeCe, have three children,
Jonathan, Ryan and Amanda. Steve's
family is very proud of him for being
Salesperson of the Year.
Steve's Customer Service Representative,
Mina Guerrero, makes up the second
half of this winning team. Mina is
new to us having just joined us last
year. However, as most of Steve's
customers know, she's a great addition
to the team.
Congratulations to Steve and Mina on a
very good year.
